Wow, those are huge, but you don't want to eat them. Those white toadstools that you usually find in the grass are some of the most poisonous mushrooms in the world.

Wow! That's a lot of morels.  I used to hate mushrooms, but I have forced myself to try them more and more. Morels changed my whole opinion. They are so tasty. What hole(s) did you find them on? Set up a stand! ;D

I found them on the little 9-hole course, and totally by chance. I never do this good when I'm actually trying to find them. :D

About two years ago I was playing cliff drive and I could smell fruit on hole 5 or 6. (The steep one up the hill where the basket is right on top of the hill. I still don't have the numbers straight since the renumbering.) I started looking around for the fruit and found some wild paw paws. They were delicious. I got about fifteen of them and had to climb a couple of trees. I haven't seen them there since then. Paw paws are about the size of a potato and taste like papaya but are completely native to Missouri.

Yeah, the paw paw tree! I remember that. I think there was one on the old path before new Hole 3 was created? There was a buckeye tree on that old path too, and I still have a buckeye in my bag, I think.

Played rosedale late this afternoon and found an arrowhead on the
slope of hole 10 and a 5 in. morel next to the steps on hole 10.

These weren't found on the course, but delicious none the less.....
