Will the baskets be moved to any shorter positions for KC Disc Golf Day?

I really like the setup out there right now (or at least the last week or two), but as was the case with the Corporate Challenge, I don't think that having the course stretched out to even medium length is good for attracting new golfers to come out and start playing.

Shorter baskets....what are you, 5 foot nothing?  Putt higher!! You and CD should start the "S.A.G." Smaller Ass. of Golfers. 

Speaking of shorter...I have volunteered to run the long drive contest, so bring out the Destroyers cuz I'll be putting on a clinic for 200' skip shots with them, thanks to p.Hill.

Long Drive Contest Rules:

1. Best of 3 or 5 shots (TBD)
2. Throw Far
3. Go pick it them up after we take the distance down, or there are rumors of shaggers helping also.

Also watch for a couple pieces of plastic up for grabs (donated by yours truely) for the furthest drive while holding a beverage....oh and you can not spill the atleast half full plastic cup of beverage either. (BYOB)

i am not the longest thrower so i can match up well on that course. if you have a better thing you wanna do go for it but i am challenging those who want to have fun and grab some cash.

I see what you're saying now about your "competitive skill range", and I think I'm in the same boat. Definitely can hang on the DU course when I don't have to throw a mile-long drive. Maybe I'll see ya down there.

No, the highest. They are playing for points. Each time a putt makes it in the basket you get a certain number of points for it. So, the higher the score the more successful you were in your putting. Highest score wins. Sounds like fun. Wish I could make it. Out of town wedding again this week. Enjoy!

A few coworkers of mine came up with a hokey, yet fun game to play on the practice basket I have at work. We made a line ten feet from the basket and started off throwing one disc, then a stack of two, then three, and so on, until we couldn't get all of the discs into the basket at once. I think the highest any of us got was 4 discs in. I suppose it could be a fun drinking game or dollar pool.
