Truck needed for material pickup

Is there anyone with a truck that would be available to pick up all the donated lumber we are receiving to replace the stairs at Rosedale?  I need someone who could go to Wyandotte County Lake and pick up the material Thursday or Friday this week between 6am and 2:30 pm.

Please let me know if you would be willing to help with this.

Please give me a call if you think you can help out with this.  I do not sit in front of a screen all day so your best bet at reaching me is calling if you can help.

The wood is being provided by KCK Parks and Rec, but they will not deliver it.  Board length's are 16' and will need to be in a truck or on a trailer.

Who has a truck or trailer to make this happen?

This needs to be done, and we have all these people willing to help on line, yet no one seems to want to help off line, step it up folks, lets see who can make the Wide Open a chance for us to shine on the course preparedness.

Make people realize that we are the KCFDC, and we are a collective community that can help bring it together!

Yes Sir... and the times I'm not busy I plan to get PC ready since the work force is much smaller in that part of town.

Well, I have a truck, and I was planning on trying to pick up that stuff today, but forgot I have an offsite career event, so I am sitting here instead.....

Does anyone have the ability to make this happen?

I really hope phone calls are being made, as this thread is drying up....

Someone last night told me Buckle was going to pick up the materials.  Not 100% sure about that though.

Buckle + Beckett + Case of Bush =Course ready in an hour.....

Yes it's confirmed John Buckle is saving the weekend!  Anyone who shows up for the workday and wants to pitch in on buying John that case of Bush is more than welcome. 

Lumber should be dropped off at #10 tomorrow morning, and we hope it doesn't walk away overnight.  So if you play tomorrow please keep your eye open for anyone loading large sticks of trees.

that is very true, though by the 3rd or 4th course, the 100th beer mark, even for those guys would probably take its toll......

I have a 16' flatbed trailer that you can borrow anytime.  it's kind of a hassle because I live so far out and I don't trust my truck for long delivery missions anymore.  it stays on property pretty much.  but the trailer is available.
