Glow Round
« on: August 06, 2008, 12:34:20 PM »
Question for you all.....a group of us are thinking about getting in a glow round some night this weekend. Where do you think would be the best park to play at?

I know Rosie has a 9 or 10pm closure, and the park ranger in a Ranger truck drives around to make sure that is the case. We were

considering H2Oworks or Wyco. Does anyone know of afterdark policies? Thanks!

You will want to call the North Patrol (police Dept 816-437-6200 ) at Water Works and let them know about playing there, or risk getting a ticket for being in there after dark as well.

WyCo would have a similar policy to Rosedale, as they are the same department.......

Of course we parked on 38th(I think) then walked to start on #16 when we play ROsedale late night........

Pleasant Hill was a blast for glow....it gets really dark out there without street or city lights....plus all the strange animal sounds make it that much more enjoyable!!

Not true...  WyCo is officially open until midnight.

Rosie is also open until midnight. (At least that's what the cop said when I was caught finishing a glow round at 2am... ;D)

I could have sworn there used to be a sign saying they closed the park at 10pm. Go for it!
