GOOD DOG!!  ;)  Now, get back under the porch and chew on your Nylabone! WOOF!!  ;D

People, please, please, PLEASE, pick up after yourself. And others. Bring plastic trash bag with you and fill it up. The dog has a reward for ya!

Hmm, I thought the only litter you see in Johnson County parks is dollar bills and loose change. Must be the gas prices...

Negative stereotyping is counterproductive.

Are there adequate trashcans in place. If not, perhaps putting a few out would curb the problem. Posting a sign reminding people to pack out what they pack in couldn't hurt either.

Some folks is just plain lazy though and t'ain't nuttin can be done but pick up after 'em. At least that's wut dey momma said. Not tryin to giv folks an excuse, I'm jus sayin is all......  :(

I was thinking that notifyinhg the park that there needs to be some trash cans, (close to the road so they don't have to work as hard) may be a step in the right direction.  Nice to hear that some of the trash is non-alcohol related.....

I've voiced my $.02 here before but I'll say it again....if you have time to pack somehting to drink take the extra 10 seconds required and pack a plastic shopping bag.

Put your garbage in there and if you see the refuse of some low life laying on the course...pick it up...if you don't, who will?

I played out in California last summer...Humbolt State University and Golden Gate State Park. I noticed guys carrying small trash bags. When I questioned them about it, they all play rounds... where BOB (back of box) gets to pickup trash on that hole.

It's fun...unless you're BOB and it gets the job done.

We have done it at Spooky (Cliff) a few times. I think I will start keeping a box of them in my truck and always play this game.

Try it...

Outstanding idea!

So BOB has to carry the cooler and a trash bag and pick up trash. If that isn't incentive to play better I don't know what is.
