It's no rumor.  I have confirmation from McCormack.  :o

We have a nice group from IA planning on going down.  I imagine after the Gateway Open this weekend in IL, David will start pimping this a bit more, maybe even get it listed on pdga.com. ;D  I'm not surprised tho, the spring event was announced about 3 or 4 weeks prior.

Hope to see a bunch of you down there.  It's sure to be a blast.  As I recall, the fall event was always a little more fun, cooler weather, less ticks, bigger fires!  I can't wait to get back, it's been 5 years!

Jack:  Truthfully I'm thinking about Yonder Mountain String Band at Liberty Hall on 10/24/08 and then in Omaha on 10/25/08.

I figured you would be hitting Metallica on Saturday night 10/25/08.  :-P

yeah, they are playing in DSM on the 26th.  I am considering the show in Omaha on 11/7.   They are also performing in St. Louis in November.  So you have alternatives to still see the show, and make it to the best tournament of the fall. ;)

Hope to see you there Jack.

And don't give me this "I have to go to Metallica BS."  They were kewl in high skewl.  Now is the time to play mountain man golf!

Be there, and bring the chuckin' bacon and chocolate milk! ;D

I predict 3.......and I would be curious to know who it is.  I have not heard of anyone planing on attending this time around.

We already have a Day/Glow event planned, geesh, will you get in your car and drive already, and quit posting here, I mean c'mon man leave us alone.

We can't all make it to every disc golf event in the area.  Some of us have other things to do.

Really, you people and all your grand Iowa ideas who have nothing better to do but post online and tell us about how great you think this event or that event is........whats that, oh......those are my discs, yeah I keep them in the car, well of course I have a change of clothes in the trunk.....yeah, I can make it anywhere to play.....oh sorry, I thought that this was the bashing of the IOWA people, failing to realize that I myself am iowegien........I do live the mantra:
I-
O-only
W-want
A-alcohol

I  of course have also been the following (noted exceptions, this has happened in more than one state, and by state, I do mean provincial territory(ok another subplot....multiple territories), and the abnormally nervous, confused or otherwise altered condition of the cerebral patterns)
I-idiots
O-out
W-wandering
A-aimlessly (around)

Thats is how you get to find better places to live.  Iowa is a great place to be from.  Just ask anyone who left, the rest of the poor bastards there are lying.
:p

I do wish I could make it, but I do not think that they back of my eyelids will be open to head there....

I drew a post out of you Jack.  Mission accomplished.

Oh, and it's called hype.....you should think about it, since you're running the biggest tournament of the year next year. ;D

Don't think people will come just because it's in the SECOND best disc golf city in the world. ;)

OH NO HE DIDN'T!   :P

Yeah he did!  The top two towns are Kansas City, MO, and Kansas City, KS.  What two towns did you think he was talking about!  ;D  OF course, Greenwood is a Kansas Citian by upbringing, so he's biased.  :P

Chap
Missouri....our state animal is sterile, our state rock is lead, and we elected a dead guy to the U.S. Senate.  Of course, he was the best candidate.
