Doubles/Mixed Doubles Interest?

Mixed dubs sounds like a great idea! I'd suggest a proper dress code be followed though, such as collared shirts for the men and wet T shirts for the ladies.

Wet t-shirts wouldn't be a must, but maybe some short skirts and tube tops....

I have to agree with born2shimmer, lets get back on point here.  We are talking about doubles league or a mixed doubles league.  I'd really like to see both leagues actually, but after talking to several club veterans, I think my spearheaded mission might be better served to go for a Mixed Doubles league at this time.  But believe me I want to see a Random draw doubles or some kind of doubles format regularly played.

How does August 6th 11 am sound?  Rosedale park Mixed Doubles league.   I'll make flyers to go up at the local courses, send out an email via topica, and we'll just see what happens.

If we get a response we'll keep that ball rolling go for August 20th?  Every 2 weeks mixed doubles, changing courses even.  

I'm a little reluctant to have this a pay league, and instead just a fun league where you can meet new people, have a good time, and spend time with your wife, husband, gf, bf, friend cousin whatever.  But if it's in the better interest and we'll get more of a response if it's a pay league then we can explore that option too.

So those are my thoughts, I'm ready to get the first event started!

Well there is a Workday Sunday August 7th at SMP, so I'll be out for day.  Do you want to try August 14th?

Maybe an evening round that day would work, around 5 or 6.  But I don't like the idea to have it on weekends as much as during the week.
