Wyco is a big tough course.  That sounds like a pretty respectable time.

With strokes worth a minute, it's still what, about 75% how you golf and 25% how fast you are between shots?

I've tried a couple times at Rosie, just because I live closest to there and don't particularly want to drive anywhere far just to run- it's not really possible until dark. Or maybe 8 AM.

I don't mind that the golf is weighted more heavily. Particularly given that were one to slow down a few seconds on each of his putts (to try to avoid the "one missed putt") that Tracy refers too, that can easily reach an aggregate of a minute per round. So, in the end, you do still have to try to find balance. Now if only I can get to a course to try it.

::) Sounds painful...how about a Segway Team event?  ;D

Me and Segways do not agree with each other. I came to that conclusion after breaking my arm trying to ride one.

If interested in a strange story. Google The Con Man James Hogue. There was a documentary film made about him.
I went to junior high and high school with him.

just shot a one down in 33 minutes at WW, first round of my life purposely not smoking a cigarette, 3 birds and a double-bogey on 6 long. :)

i guess that score <33 + 53> is an 86, timko - i'll try to break 80 this year

used 3 discs, no foot faults, no gimmes, no "play-through" delays thank god, and realized it might be smarter to lay up in front of the basket rather than 10 feet past. hells  bells i went for every bird i could, and kept putting back to the chains adding distance. was fatigued after 7 holes but the rush i got was incredible after the first 14 holes. i'm not a runner but i never walked, a few shots i stopped to regulate my breathing and compose. i only made one putt over 20 feet and managed to park 2 drives.

Not bad for an old geezer. If my knee wasn't as jacked up as it is after my injury I'd give it a go. The way it is now I have to worry about re-injury at normal pace.

Nice shooting there Jamie!  Under 80 would be a great WW round.

I'll do some timing of myself Down Under this spring and let you know how it goes.

There is a B-day round for Deano at WyCo 1:30 tomorrow....all are welcome...but you'll have to listen to mute-free music the entire round!!

Sounds fun. I'm going to make this a weekly routine at WW.

If you're a runner and want another challenge, you can try doing the beer mile. All you do is chug a beer each lap around a track.
