Sprint Campus 2 DG baskets?

Does anyone know what those where for?  Yesterday after leaving Town Center Plaza my wife noticed a basket just west of Nall in some tall prarie grass.  So being the obsessed nut I have become, I spent 20 mins driving around the campus trying to find a sign or more baskets.  My only other discovery was one more basket just North of 119th, also in knee high prarie grass.

Was there more at one time?

Our fearless leader Jack Lowe used to work at Sprint, I believe that there is a nine course on the campus that is his brain child.

Last I heard about those baskets it that you have to be a Sprint employee to use them and I know that they are really stricked about people being in the "grass restoration" and excuse not to cut the grass.
