Car submerged in KC lake
Kansas City firefighters are trying to determine whether anyone is inside a car submerged in a pond at Blue Valley Park.

Dispatchers sent emergency crews to the site at 24th and Topping streets about 10:05 a.m. They reported that the top of the car was about a foot below the surface, and the car may have gone into the pond during the night.

I don't know Jack.  If the disc were one of my last CE Eagles or Teebirds I might be swimming through whatever may be at the bottom of that pond!

I was there along with one Mr. Daniel Truax while they were pulling the car out. We were glad to see it was just an empty car and nothing worse. Made for an interesting round, though!

I swam in the lake at P. Hill on the 19th of april to get back my favorite firebird.
Spent about 45 minutes in there and found 10 other discs as well.
Didnt need my SUV or a car though. A wetsuit woulda been nice, it was f*%$#@ing cold water!!!

Having witnessed your little dip in the lake was perhaps one on the funniest things I have ever seen on the disc golf course! I was pissed however that you were unable to find my yellow Star Valk!!

I threw my blue/black Huk Lab Star Wraith in P-Hill lake during a tourney. I was tempted to jump in and grab it, but I assumed the water was miserably cold.

Discs are pretty darn important. Sometimes.  ;D
