in the years past there has not been an ace fund for the ice bowl, so buy away....

That is a very good point.  I should adjust (lower) my beer to hole ratio this year. Maybe then I'd remember these details.

No, it is first come first serve, and we have always requested that you travel in groups no larger than 5, but many people do not abide by this.  We will have starters this year, and hopefully that will help.

I personally just go play down under and turn in my score from there, typically it is a tougher course than the ice bowl already, but this si a fun event, not a tournament, so give a few folks the benefit of being out to have fun, and raise money for a good cause.

There WILL be an ACE fund for mini golf :).  After talking with Rick today we have decided to separate the CTP/Putting contest from the Mini Golf.  So it will be as follows...

$2 bucks gets you one round of 9 mini golf holes.
Breakdown -> $1 to Charity and $1 to PAYOUT!  YES CASH PAYOUT!
You may play AS MANY ROUNDS as you would like!  Payout 1st - 75% and 2nd - 25%

$1 ACE FUND - Not mandatory!  If no one hits an ACE then the money goes to charity.

The course has been designed and will be ready to play BY 8:30 amish on Sunday.  And going with the theme of Rosedale Park (And the way it just came together) I decided to make the course VERY lefty friendly.

What are the out-of-bounds for the tournament?

Not that I'm worried, but I have put it on Mission Road twice on 18.  Since they cut back the trees next to the pin, it seems to go through without much to stop it on those windy days.

Thanks to everyone who attended Ice Bowl on Sunday, where the official low was 17° and the official high was 21°. Even though we were under-prepared for the sheer number of people who showed up, I thank everyone for their patience and keeping true to the "no whining" rule of Ice Bowl. We're going to be spending much of today at DGW, poring over the paperwork and counting the dough, and hope to have a full report, probably by tomorrow morning. For now, I just wanted to say thank you very much Kansas City disc golfers. Let's golf, play some other frisbee games, and party again on Disc Golf Day in May in the WARM SUNSHINE...and then there's the biggest party of the year...the Worlds in July.

Rick
