Course Update - 1/20/09
« on: January 20, 2009, 11:03:57 AM »
Work is moving along on the walkway/crossing areas of the course.  There are several that are dry already and the city hopes to make lots of progress(if not get done) this week, weather permitting.

The signs have been ordered and should be in by the 1st of February.

Not much left after the signs other than getting the park mowers out and cleaning everything up!

you can probably go out there and throw now if you want to.  noone's stopping you, just no baskets.

i was there the other night.  managed to throw my buzz up on top of a shelter.  sweet.

the benches, cans and pads are looking great.  it will be a fantastic spring.

Right now, it's pretty muddy in a few spots (namely holes 10 and 11), and there's some ankle-breaker type bumps and clumps out there, which should work themselves out once the ground thaws out and the course gets mowed. Looked like most of the benches had been poured, and the footings for the bridges had also been poured, as well as the new tee pads on 13 and 14.   It's coming along.
Missouri....our state animal is sterile, our state rock is lead, and we elected a dead guy to the U.S. Senate.  Of course, he was the best candidate.
