Morning Patrol 7.22.05 - Water Works
« on: July 25, 2005, 11:36:45 AM »
We had a first for the Morning Patrol!  7 players showed up 2 from out of state.  It was decided we would play doubles with one player playing Callie.

Results:

Brant/Dennis: 56
Christian: 57
Mike (CO)/Hugh (IA): 59
Jim/Tim: 59

Thanks for making it out guys.  I'm not sure but I think the Morning Patrol will be off this week (7.29.05) as the core of our group will be out of town or unable to make it.  I have also mentioned making a special MP on a Saturday mornings to attract more players.  If anyone has any iterest in this reply here.

I'd be willing to play in a Saturday morning group...especially since most of us have to work everyday during the week.

Well, well, well, where will the morning patrol be roaming around this week? Are we going to try a Sat. round? Disc Hawker, I mean DJ I think it is your call. Who else wants to get in a early round? It sure beats playing in the dog days of Aug. maD doG

I suppose that the time has come to break my vow of silence, and post to this topic while hoping that I don’t sound like a petulant child.

I am all for playing on weekend mornings, but the true fun of playing on Friday mornings is about playing while the majority of the people are working or sleeping.   Obviously, this means that most people will be unable to play.  It is not that I want to exclude anyone (the more that can play the better), but it is always more fun to do things while you feel that you are getting away with something, i.e., playing while others are gainfully employed.

This is my last possible Friday morning to play for the year for I also must earn a living.  I would like to see one more Friday Morning Patrol.  Why not add Saturday morning rather than delete Friday?

I still want to play a Saturday round at Swope, I'm just not totally sure this Saturday will work.
