Actually, us country bumpkins out here in Western Kansas play it as a drinking game. There are many ways to play and the rules/points can be flexible. Here are the rules: You need two people per team. Each team will defend their respective pole. The poles will have empty beer bottles on top and the players must have a beer in hand. Team A throws at team B's pole. If team A misses the pole, Team B can get a point by catching the disc before it hits the ground. However team B can not interfere with the disc until it is "a clear miss." If team A hits the pole, they get a point. If they hit the pole and knock the bottle to the ground, they get an additional two points for a total of three. If team B catches the disc but not the bottle, team A only earns two points. However, if team B catches the falling beer bottle, team A only gets a point. If team B catches the bottle and the disc before either hit the ground, team B gets the 3 points and team A gets none. That's how we score the points, you can make your own rules on when to drink.
