Found Disc
« on: February 04, 2009, 08:04:39 PM »
I was playing Down Under and found a disc that was most likely lost on #2 or #3 up-top, but oddly there was no name on the disc.  It is a fairly new disc and features the handsome KC 2009 Worlds logo.  If you know the color and type of disc, I'll give it back to you.  Otherwise, I'm going to throw it (and we all know that this means I may lose it).

No, I am afraid that does not fit the disc-cription.  Yours must still be down there.

No, but that would be cool as I have never thrown a Boss.

Thinking back to where I found it, this disc must have been a very errant drive from #2's tee pad, since it was down under near #4's alternate tee.   Its the kind of shot you'd remember making, but that you'd want to forget.

And no Steve, it isn't your Ontario Roc; but I do have that for you as well.

Sounds like LZ's disc for sure now.

FYI, these are the discs that I know of stamped with the "Corporate" PAW09 Logo:
Aviar
dx Roc
KC Roc
Star Ontario Roc
Valkyrie
Monarch (maybe)
Boss

I know there are some other drivers, but Rick, John, or Ted will have to chime in here to get a full list.

I don't think it's a Roc.  That's all I ever lose :).

Just don't call YOUR boss a maroon (bad spelling intentional).

Was it a purple KC Wide Open logo Destroyer?  Miss that one.   And you're right, it was an awful, but in a way awesome shot.  Griplocked into the woods and it never touched a twig.

Kansas City "WORLDS '09" logo?   Are you sure?  Didn't know they had printed any of those yet.   Still looking for my purple destroyer with the KC Wide Open logo around the rim.
