What a great job the city has done out there. Great signs, great bridges etc.

It nice to have something so close to home. Can't wait till Blue Springs gets in the ground.

We "kouldn't WYCO" today, so we played Legacy for the first time. It was very muddy, as was expected, but a nice course overall. Can't wait to play it again, hopefully on a dry day.

I walked through this course while I was visiting.

Amazing tee pads and signs!  I was impressed by P-hill, but these were even better.  Huge pads.

First 9 reminded me a little of blue valley.  #3 was tough!  I love trees around the greens.  But the locusts on 4?  Ouch!

Some holes seemed wide open, like 6?, 10, 11.  Some on the back were a jungle.  That short one (14?) was cool, but you could lose a disc 15' from the basket.

#12 was a beautiful hole.  #17 & #18 looked really cool on long settings.  Looks like you could play 18 super-long to the practice bucket.

I'd agree that the parks needs to mow bigger fairways.  It kinda looks cool to see short fairway grass & rough.  But I was only there for 30 minutes, didn't walk through a lot of tall stuff, and me and my family all got bad chiggers & ticks.  Untamed land, they need to mow and keep mowing.  Saw a couple of groups looking for discs in the tall stuff.

I finally made it to Legacy too, yesterday, then hit Yates.

The only complaint is the narrow fairways.  I had a pretty strong south wind, and had to look for my drive on every single hole.  Yeah, I know I don't throw the best, but I won't go back there unless the wind is all but dead, or I'm with at least 3 others to cut down on looking time.  If the holes were shorter, this would be fine, but throwing 300' (yes, I can do that sometimes...) it's hard to place a landing in something that narrow.  Part of the game, yes, but this isn't conducive to smooth play.

That said, it's beautiful!  Great signs, great pads, and a layout that takes good advantage of the terrain.
