Mighty MO-May 10th

WW and Cliff Drive, should be the first event with Tee pads at Cliff (how long have I been threatening to have them there?).

We will start at WW and then off to Cliff in the afternoon. 

I will post details as I come up with the price plan.

RIght now I am thinking about the following-
PDGA-C-Tier
$60-open
$50-Pro divisions
$30-Adv divisions
$20-Int/Jr./Novice

There will be additional fees-
$2/PDGA
$2/Non-KCFDC member fee
$3 Ace fund
$10-non-PDGA fee

There is talk about having a charity event on the 9th @ Cliff Drive for the North East area (Indian Mound Association), I will post more here on that, I realize that there is the prostate event, but it is far away from this event, so I iwll try to ask that you choose what to do, but realize that our time for events is tight, and this date unfortunately was mapped out last December with the organization, based on our plan to have the Mighty Mo the day after the fund raiser.

More information to follow, it should be listed in the PDGA soon, sanctioning has been sent.

I was looking at your proposed entry fees for the Mighty Mo and had a question regarding the additional fees.  Are you really going to charge $2.00 for non-KDFDC members?  I know it's only a C-Tier tournament but it seems to me that the majority of folks that would travel in for this tournament are probably not KCFDC members.  Maybe I'm wrong.

I've just never heard of charging non-club member fees at a PDGA event.

I typically always have included this fee in all the events that I run.  I pay the club for the players that are not club members for the work that the club does to make the course ready.

Just a question.... If WW and Cliff are both being used, wouldn't there be room for up to 180?  ???

Only if the TD wants to find more staff to run the second course simultaneously.  Are you volunteeering?  ;D

A precise answer.  I did that a few years back, and then couldn't play, and it slightly irritated me so, no I do not plan on letting in more than 90 players.  If we have 90 filled up by Easter, then I will not play and will open to it the 180 enmass that you speak of.

i do not plan on putting out 2 courses.  Tracy, if I hafta then I hafta....but hey the real goal is to have fun in two great parks!

Prefilled, pre-organized makes it soooo much easier for the TD to run a good event.   I would have limited Kan-U-Wyco to 72 players if it hadn't been for the fact that it had historically been allowed to go that big.   5 players per group is sucky.

Jack, if you expand it, please limit it to 144 players (72 per course, 4 per hole). I'll help coordinate things at the course you're not at.  Of course, I want to play in one of the Pro pools and I think you do to. So??

I had an idea for a logo and slaped the mighty mo on it.

Will not be using it for the Mighty Mo, though, I would rather use something that represents the courses, and the water, hence all the other logo's that have been used...I am thinking of returning to the first logo
