Legacy League begins on April 3rd

based on the pending weather forecast, the first league of the year at Legacy will be pushed back a week until Friday, April the 3rd.

Fees are the same as the rest of our KCFDC leagues, $5 for club members and $6 for non-club members.  Cash payouts for Open and Masters players and KC cash payouts for Ams.

Your fees do include the ace pool, though at this time, there's nothing in it!

I understand that some people don't like the Friday scheduling, but I picked that day to try and give people that live in MO a chance to play a league without driving an hour to get to WyCo.  The distance is what has kept me from their league in the past, it's almost an hour drive for me.  I play Swope on Tuesdays and occasionally Waterworks on Thursdays, and I didn't want to go up against Rosedale on Wednesday nights.

Also, if the weather forecast of mid 30s - mid 40s with wind, sleet and rain holds up, league will not start until the following Friday.

SO this is a new KCFDC league, and the City is still gonna do the Monday thing?

I think that it makes sense to host it on Friday, since it competes with WyCo on the other side of the city, kinda why I went to Mondays agains Olathe, its 40 minutes away from each other

that's correct.  The city is still going to do their own league on Monday nights.  It's a $20 fee for the whole league and it runs for about a month and a half, from June until the beginning of August.

considering they really only do Champ Rocs for the USDGC, I have a hunch that we won't be getting any Legacy-stamped champion Rocs.  sorry will. ;)
