Concrete Finisher's needed at Cliff Drive May 2-CANCELLED

Saturday, May 2.  We will be pouring the concrete.  I need to have those people that know how to properly finish ready to go.  The big truck will come in, fill the form, then we go at it.  The more teams we have in place, the faster, and quicker it will be.  Please pass this information along.  Contact me directly at 913.485.5123 for more information about helping.

Too freakn' bad I will be at my son's College Graduation that day.

Do you guys have the 2 new pad locations marked?

Is that the new flags on #13? Where does new #16 go?

I will get those moved and everything pour ready this week.

I have not yet determined the pads for 13 & 16, nor the pins on 13 & 16 that will be going in.  I'll take some paint with me tonight and light it up with where they go.  Realizing that Mr. Keizer is back to building cars today...I am uncertain how much time he will be able to give to the project.

I also want to make sure that the P&R is coming in for sure.....I got the person that does the work to say no problem, now I want to make sure that I get the director to again start up the machine.  He was already a yes earlier, so hopefully this will help.  Please do me a favor all of you and let everyone know at the leagues the next few weeks that we have a work day planned for May 2 at Cliff Drive, and primarily we will be working on the tee pads.

As of now, I still have weekends and after a week or two I should have weekday evenings as well.

Dude, #13's pad definitely needs to go near the flags, that's an awesome shot with the road there, but let's raise the canopy on that nearby tree a bit and slide the pad under the north side of it for some shade. 8)

Well, I guess we don't need purple splatter all over the pad. Still be nice to incorporate into the tee area though.

Jack just a side note, the forms your using are fine for concrete at ground level and at 3.5 inches tall they should hold about 1 and 1/8 yards of concrete roughly. Some of the forms are to tall and wont handle the weight of the concrete when filled. They can be off the ground a max of 1-2 inches before you have to really stabilize the forms with better supports than you are using presently. If you back fill the form with gravel this will help also. When pouring from the truck the concrete coming out of the truck should not hit the side of the form either as it can knock the form out of square or completely over.
