Uh, yeah. Like it's society's fault people can't maintain civility  :o

What in the world will we ever do to match that if R2RO wins the worlds at home -- burn a few trees at Blue Valley  ???

Any fans anywhere would have booed at that moment. They acknowledged the Conn Smythe and Stanley Cup presentations and they cheered for Mario as well. I don't know what fantasy world you live in where fans cheer for the other team right after watching their own team lose a championship game...

I remember the Calgary fans cheering vociferously after the Flames lost to the Canadiens in 1986.

Okay, so it happened once, way back in 1986. The fact that it happened in Canada might actually mean that it officially never happened...

Isn't Canada the birthplace of hockey? :)

Perhaps, but since nothing happens in Canada, that means hockey wasn't born like other sports, but rather simply appeared to us out of thin air (ice?) as a gift from God.

And just because you print "Hockeytown" on the ice of your arena doesn't make it so.  I think the folks in Toronto might dispute that.

I just now noticed your KC Islanders logo.  That would make a lot of sense to have the Islanders move to Kansas City and keep the name Islanders.  I would hope they change the name to something more appropriate.  Kansas City might be the furthest city from an island in North America...

There's gotta be an island in the river somewhere.....

Actually, I don't think the Islanders are coming here, and if they did, it's unlikely they would keep the name Islanders

Don't forget the island shots at Prairie Center and Rosedale, and even Swope not that they've moved 14 long. So see there are several islands in KC

Yep, not only does Cliff have its own island placement, there is also an island down on the fishing pond.
