Chance to Play Thornfield—Friends of the Mounted Patrol DGT - June 6

On Saturday, June 6, the Friends of the Mounted Patrol is holding a fundraising event at the Thornfield Disc Golf Course in Stillwell, Kansas. So far, the organization has been very successful in raising money for their cause from sponsors who are not fielding teams. As a result, there are several sponsored positions for those who want to play this event. If playing this event and the challenging Thornfield track on June 6 is of interest, please contact Dan Cashen at 913.638.6399 or dcashen@tmsmech.com to see if you qualify.

MARAUDER is, or was, a United States Government research project. It is an acronym of Magnetically Accelerated Ring to Achieve Ultra-high Directed Energy and Radiation. It was first reported on August 1, 1993.

See, that would work, beings we are hazardous material. Plus he will be throwing a magnetically accellerated disc to achieve ultra-high  directed energy into his throw.

I heard disc golf advertised for the first time on the radio.  810 was running an add for the Ozanam tourney.  That course is really doing great things for our sport. 

I have seen disc golf on TV several times, but this was the first time i heard a tourney being advertised.

I also saw a local paper from Johnson County advertising The Friends of KCMMP tournament..

It's only a suggestion, but I think the club might consider doing something for Bill Stueck (the owner of Thornfield) after or at Worlds?

Radio advertising? Newspaper ads? Unheard of as far as I know.

He, in my opinion, is an unbelievably generous man and a true friend of the KC disc golf community and should be recognized for his efforts.
