I thought that people will be checking out the forum a bit, so why not put this down.  You should vote only after you have played the course.  I would say that listing Blue Valley as your favorite because you made the Finals does not count, or shouldn't....your call though.  This of course will be monitored and checked for validity by Dewey, Cheetham & Howe......

The initial list is based on our own listing in a previous topic, and Thornfield was not listed.  I will list it though for these reporting purposes.  It will expire in 60 days.

That would not only be awesome it would be totally remarkable given the fact that we have 563 members on this discussion board and only about 10% are active frequently. But we could get some serious guest traffic with the Worlds approaching.

Pretty sure my vote will be WW, but I haven't played SM or WYCO yet, so I'll wait to vote till after those are under my belt.  From what I've heard though, my opinion won't change.....we'll see.

Can't wait, counting down the days.  Less than 3 weeks.

Had to go Cliff Drive.  It's just the most diverse course we have.

As I predicted, it proved to be the turning point of the Worlds.  I'm pleased the Open Division had to play this course otherwise they would have only played one wooded hole, 6 WW.

I know a lot of people love WW, but since the addition of the pads I gotta go Cliff all the way!!!

My favorite is hmmm!!!!! Anything In Kc !!!!!! After moving here a little over 5 weeks ago ,I have to say how much I love bieng here and Becoming a part of KCFDC.Unless you have travelled and played alot of courses all over the country .It would be very easy to not know what you really have here.be very grateful for the courses and the people that have been making DG what it is here.there are a whole lot of places that cant even put together a mini that has more then 10 people on a regular basis .So I give a huge thank u to the Worlds staff and volunteers ,and for all those that have come before us .KANSAS CITY ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Ok Cliff drive . Grin

Well I voted for Waterworks, but I didn't get to play Cliffdrive, Rosedale DU or Thornfield. So it might have changed if I could have played one of these.

I really did liked Blue Valley, but since it was the last day of play for me I was a little worn out. If it would have been on day 2 when I played it I bet I would pick it over Waterworks. If I live there I could see myself playing Wyndot Co. A LOT!! Really everything I played was really nice....I've told many people since I have been back that the worst hole I played up there is probably better than the best hole here.(not actually true, but trying to make a point about how nice things were up there).

You guys are very lucky to have the courses you do up there....they are all sweeeeeeet!!!!

THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL YOU DID!!! I will be back to KC to play one day.

Each one I played was my favorite, just depends on the last one played, as to which I liked the most.

Played C.D. in the rain, double OB on hole 12, but still voted it my favorite. Really want to take that test again. Swope was nice, the elevation from tee to green really worked my midrage game, Prairie Center easy fairways, with OB way too close to the baskets... more than making up for the "openess". If I moved to KC, would try to find a place close to Rosedale. What a park; big, wide open up top, three disc tester course down under. Plenty of challenge at both to sharpen up a game, plus Oklahoma Joes!

That July/August weather, rolled back into Austin, TX Sat. night 8pm, 100 degrees. I was ready to drive right back.

Favorite course... which one do I get to play next?

I will be back, June '10 for the Wide Open, Carolina style Pulled Pork sandwhiches, and some of the nicest people I have ever shared a golf course with.
MM1 needs to play Water Works so I can add a new favorite course, (I purposely avoided Blue Valley, will begin my "leg work" now just in case).

THANK YOU K.C.!

That made my week! Cliff Drive was a close 2nd as I like that course a lot too. The elevation at Water Works and the variety is what I loved. We have nothing even close to it in Illinois.

Although I ranked Rosedale Down Under last on my list I have never played a course like it. That was just some crazy golf.

Thanks again for all the hard work & great memories! I hope to get back.
