from what i could see here are the problem placements on holes
hole 1 middle placement  full of mud and ice ,basket will not go all the way down
hole 2 the long left placement no chain to lock it
hole 5 short left no place to lock it
hole 7 right placement full of mud will not go all the way down
hole 11 no long right placement anymore
hole 14 short, no place to lock it
hole 15 short full of mud will not go all the way down
hole 16 can't find the short left placement
hole 17 short right no place to lock it
thats about it,i'm sure there are more problems just didn't have time to look

I'll be back the first of June and plan to start some work, coordinating with Dick, Mark, Kujo, and others. WW is our premier executive course for the WO, so it will get the love it needs soon.

Thanks for the heads up and attention to detail out there. If anyone heads out the clear up downed limbs in the meantime, please try to position them for erosion control as opposed to just throwing them haphazardly down a hill or in the woods. That would be GREAT! (read like you are Tony the tiger).

I'm sure everyone knows this but the basket on #6 is missing the ring that connects all of the inner chains. It's been this way for like 4 years now.

WW course issues update:

Someone this week ripped the flags off the baskets on holes 11, 14, 16 and 17
The large kiosk with the course map has fallen over, will need new posts.
The landscape timber at the bench of hole 1 has rotted and needs replaced.
Railroad Tie at hole 2 needs to be re-set in the ground
Hole 8's sign is on the ground, new post needed.
Hole 18's map is missing out of the sign.

Hole 1 short middle pin is clogged
Hole 6 short left clogged
Hole 7 middle clogged
Hole 9's short pin needs to be moved now that the evergreen guarding it has been removed
hole 10 middle clogged
hole 16 short left has been run over and is bent

On a good note we have a trash can at every hole now and most of the larger limbs have been cleared from the fairways.
if its anything worth doing, its worth doing right

Thanks for the update Kujo.

I requested an entirely new marquee and we are getting costs.  It will look like the other KCMO courses (swope, BV, Cliff) so that is on the way.

We failed to get all flags for the courses but we know it is needed.

We also have been discussing the tee sign replacements across all the courses.

So some of this is already in motion, but it is certainly good to read about what is needed as well!

Good deal. looking to have a work day out there on a saturday in April sometime before the KCWO. really just to do some cleanup and landscaping.

the area around hole 8's benches and pad needs a retaining wall to reduce erosion
