We don't have to pre register for this do we? If I just show up and play that works?

Chances are, my tag is better than yours...  8)
I haven't played KCFDC events because they are a lot of times on Sundays. But I will gladly challenge you to a round any time you want. :)

You know since the top #'s should be made available I feel it a duty to accept some challenges from pros.

well maybe not if you are playing AM
Didn't i beat you last time we played league together when I was playing OPEN? But yes, I will be playing Am at the tournament. I know you don't mind it, but I don't really want to pay extra money so I can finish towards the end of my division. :)

Had a fun time out at P-Hill yesterday, thanks to Dan and Co. for putting on a great tournament!

Wish I had shot a little better, but I did sleep well last night knowing my scores were appropriate for the Advanced division... ;) ::)

Sweet tourney Dan-and way to take 1st in Pro2.  Was torn between that and advanced, but had a good time getting crushed by all the tough masters competition (I still think u should have paid 7 spots ;D  My 2 buddies came out for rec and it was their first organized golf event (tourney or league) and they both had a stellar time, and are both excited to play future events, especially since my friend Seth won 25$ worth of plastic for his 2nd place finish.

Afterglow was also awesome-thanks for putting on a fun event Ted, the balloons on the baskets were a nice feature.  I also learned some math when I was out there last night...Beer + Old Crow + Cookies = poor (but really fun) glow golf. Shoulda packed some warmer sleeping clothes and mixed in a bottle of water or two yesterday I was thinkin this morning when I woke up in the tent with near-hypothermia and a splitting headache...but the day's/nights events were well worth today's pain :o

ONLY COMPLAINT-Palm(Bagg)er winning the CTP for the ace$. and knocking my buddy out of the win (we were splitting 4 ways if we won and thus covering most camping expenses).  i thought screaming F U PALMER during his throw would distract him, but instead he parked it 12" from the pin and made me eat my words. Well done, Palmer, well done.

That was the best part-- that he did it despite the heckling. I was up by the pin when he threw, I heard a "PALMER SUCKS!" and then watched the disc park right under the basket... :D

Afternoon "D" Lite, Saturday 8/29 (Cloudy 75-78, North - Northwest wind 5 -8 mph)

43 players out on a unseasonably cool August afternoon at Lake Shore.  Course was in immaculate condition thanks to City mowing Friday.  Several people camped Friday night, and probably close to 20 camped Saturday night.  First I would like to thank Brian & Leslie Palmer for the help scoring and putting the cards together....really makes it seem like a breeze to run a tournament with their help.  Also, like to thank Sean Elliot for driving me around to unlock baskets (so we could move them at the end of the 1st round) and helping me get #8 basket unlocked (lock had been hit by a mower).  Sean also helped with registration.

Leo DaPrato cruised to a 5 stroke win in Pro 1(with a 11 down in the second round)....Dan Coffman ekked out a 1 stroke win in Pro 2 (with a birdie on the last hole)....Matt Taylor edged Brian Palmer by 1 for the win in Advanced....Bill Hecht and Bill Neenan tied in Advanced Masters (Bill Hecht won the CTP tiebreaker)....Kim Harrelson got the win in Women's....Charlie Tull won Rec by 4 strokes....Brian Palmer won the CTP for a half of the Ace Pool ($60).
