Anybody know why baskets 10 and 11 are pulled/gone?

I thought it might just be they got lost in the tall grass... ;)

I sent my contact an e-mail asking about it.  I will post here when I figure out what's going on.

Last Saturday the big shelter (next to 12's tee) was rented, and they had a portable volleyball net setup in 11's fairway....we just went on to Swope.... maybe there was a problem and the city decided to pull the pins. ???

The baskets were not pulled.  They were stolen.

New baskets are being ordered this week.

Keep your eyes peeled on ebay or craigslist for newish discatchers.

Great, another reason for them to abandon maintainance on that course.

Maybe they need to rethink their now plan....if it was mowed like a park it might deter thieves (be more visible to passing traffic).

Not too many Discatchers in town, so if it was a local perp, they ought to be easy to spot. Would love nothing more than to see a basket thief get their's... >:(

This is highly disappointing.  Only juveniles would be capable of such a task. I will be watching craigslist

I completely disagree.......

Anyone with the desire to own a basket and the lack of moral character required to be a thief is capable of this.

I have no idea why one would immediately point the finger at juveniles. It would take tools and a truck to pull this off to begin with.

I suppose I was metaphorically speaking.  I should have been clearer.
