The first EVER C-Tier at Cliff Drive with Tee pads, I really mean it this time, they will be done.  The courses will NOT be set in Worlds configuration

I did not check the box indicating that I would abide by that rule Tracy.  So I will not be doing so in the Pro Field.

The shirt will be a long sleeve Dri-Fit valued at close to $20 for the event.  I may try to get some local sponsorship, but being gone all next week before the event it'll be hard then I have a week of work that will be back loggin from my time off.

I had done that at the Mighty MO, and realized it later.  I think that for the cash divisions, paying 40% is too deep.  My own opinion is that the top 25%-30% should really be all that get paid.  Think about school, you pass at 70%, if you are lower than that you don't......my opinion.....its announced in everything that I have done.

Nice work Jack ....... I never check those boxes for the C-Tier I run in Iowa. I even pay the AM's on the pro scale at 40% ....... I see no reason that when you "fail" at disc golf you should get paid. I also really like your AM entry fee.  Yeah with the low entry fee and nice shirt for all the AM payout will not be as high as the AM's are demanding these days, but everyone gets something and the AM's are actually AM's as they are playing for the competition and minimal prizes.

We are having a nice little debate on the IowaDG forum about AM entry fees and payouts.

Thats just it they are guidelines, if you read it real carefully they "suggest" you do it this way, and it is their preferred method, I just prefer mine.  I think that it is a good start, and especially if you have never ran an event it really helps, but for someone that is a renegade like myself, well......

In my "renegade" days of altering PDGA tourament agreements, I would always let them know that I was going to pay MORE than the maximum 1/3 that told me I was spozed to pay. (I am talking several years back.)  Of course, I still believe that paying more people is a better way to go. A borderline pro who gets his money back is likely to try it again. But, there are those Type O's (universal donor) out there.

If anyone from the Olathe/Lenexa area is going to C.o.F. and doesnt mind someone riding alog I would love to go.  If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it...

I will try to get out on Friday to set the courses.  Cliff Drive is almost set, but I lost my keys last night during league while moving baskets, thanks to Drew I found them, all that needs to move at Cliff will be #5 & #6.  Blue Valley will probably be set with the exception of #3 and #9, as they will require temporary settings.

*Island hole, you must land on island to throw from it, other wise use drop zone, or where it last went out of bounds.  You may throw from drop zone after your drive goes out of bounds.  so if you if throw your drive OB, you play regular OB, if your subsequent shot goes OB, you may go to drop zone where you will be throwing 5 to get on Green.

Blue Valley, I have not been out there since the World's, so I am not sure where the pins are currently, but this is what we will be looking at for the course.
