BENCH ON HOLE 10 DESTROYED

I can't believe nobody posted this yet.
The bench at the "smokehole" was demolished by a fallen tree.
Would have killed someone had they been sitting there.




P.S. someone please post a picture of it.....

My buddy Brian told me that him and several others were on #9 fairway and heard the crash.  They got down to the fallen tree about 3 minutes later and were the ones who moved it off of the bench.  They said the way it was spread out anyone on the bench or anywhere near it would've been seriously injured or killed for sure. They are definitely the smoker type and group size who would use that bench in a round so they are all pretty lucky and came within a few minutes of a gruesome, freakishly unlucky death.

Both the wooden bench and the metal bench?  How big is the tree?  I am assuming that it is massive if you think someone could have been killed. Can it be cut with a regular size chainsaw?  I'll check it out tomorrow and see if I can get it out.

I was there when it happened and here's the story.......

I have a friend from Texas who was up here visiting. He likes to come to KC and play disc golf, so we went to Rosey for a round. He used to be involved in martial arts, and was quite famous. Some of you may have heard of him. His name is Chuck Norris. Well, anyway, he drove first on 10, but hit a tree early. This pissed him off. Then I drove and parked it. I said something to work him, like, maybe if he wasn't such a wimp he could throw more than 30 feet. Well, he loses his temper and throws a roundhouse kick at my head. Luckily, I was all amped up on the red bull (and other performence enhancing things) so I was able to duck just in time to advoid getting my head kicked off. His kick hits this big ass tree behind me instead, the tree drops, and crushes the bench. Chuck says as soon as he sells another total gym machine, he'll buy a replacement bench.

It appears to me from the pictures that with some straightening of the uprights it just needs a new back.

It is only the back that needs to be replaced.  It was the top of a dead tree.  The P&R knows about the bench and what needs to be repaired.

douchebag i know friend smokes 10 round doesnt pot and sits the frequently.  said are smoker and what not revelation a of might the "type"  you to it. Regardless didn't his name go up tree jump bridge, THEN F .

It's me, Brian (no last name). I don't care if spence called me a smoker-i do smoke a half pack a day. The only thing i enjoy more than smoking cigs is tearing sh1t up with my machine gun-chainsaw (pictured). I think that Sparky is kind of being douche-ish for telling someone they are out of line when he has no frame of reference. He's like a child who wanders into the middle of a movie.....But Spence, you DO need to take it easy on Nivek, he is only does what he thinks is best, which just happens to be occasional unwarranted censorship.
