I'm told it's a 3 hour drive.  Googled the course, and looks to be fairly easy to get to.

we would have to leave at 5 AM to make it to the course on time for sign up. 545 at the latest. The tourny doesn't start until 10 so we can cheat a bit but not much.

I know where the course is in Wichita. It's south Wichita and not far from the highway.

I vote for leaving Saturday morning.

Actually, I just learned of some things I need to take care of on Friday, at work, that may keep me from leaving early that day.  I'm leaning in the Loomis direction, at least for myself, to leave early Saturday morning.

Billy, I'll call ya' tomorrow, and let ya' know for sure.

We are trying to get there to see the course as myself and Slim have never played it.I think Bill Neenon is leaving later in the day.

who wants to leave on Saturday morning? May I hitch a ride?

As far as playing the courses before the tournament I can say this, the first six holes are short, tech shots with trees, earth mounds and a sidewalk of OB. Then there are several long holes with a river on one side and trees that force you play awkward shots. Then more shot tech shots, then more long shots against the river. It's a great course. If you play down under a lot, the short shots won't mean much. If you enjoy the long, hilly shots at WW, BV or Cliff Drive, then the long river shots shouldn't mean much.
