« on: May 08, 2015, 08:44:41 am »
getting a group/groups together in preparation for paradise diamond and Damon Morgan's birthday round. meeting @ 9am at woodhenge then playing blackthorn after lunch. Bring some meat to BBQ or pasta/tater salad, chips, pop, beer, whatever... we will have the grill going.

I can carpool a few peeps from the waterworks area, will most likely leave by 8ish

ya we nicknamed paradise point "tick city". 2 weeks ago I was pulling them off me all round and stayed in the fairway for the most part. literally every other hole I would have to lift up my shirt and pick em off.  last week was not as bad but still had about 20 on me.

I played both courses last Friday and when I returned home I found just two ticks.  By the way I felt that both courses were in pretty good shape.  There was some downed wood on Woodhenge but over all the grass had been cut and the rough was not too bad.

Hmmm. Guess you wear some impressive tick repellent huh Bill?

Then again, "dogs" are more prone to ticks. ;)

I'll bring out my military grade DDT then. It worked in Vietnam.  I might glow at night but hey, tick free. ;)
