Frost Bite Open

When:  The first snow of the season! (see below) 
          Starting at 6:30 PM.
Where: Rosedale - Down Under
What: Singles glow in the fresh snow.

$10 - includes $2 ace fund. 
First 10 people get a commemorative long-sleeve T-shirt.

The first snow fall of at least 3+ inches that sticks to the ground.  I come from snow country and first snow typically meant 6-10 inches.  I'll settle for 3 as our working definition.  Look for an updated post on the day of the big snow to announce any change in details.

maybe i am the only one smirkin, but i have lived in KC(olathe) since 93 and i have seen some years pass through w/out a 3" snow at all.  however u can always count on plenty of days to get frostbit..lol
  playing in the snow is pretty cool though, so count me in if/when we get the dusting u r talking about. I'll keep looking for update on snow days

Old Red Beard comes form Erie, Penn., so 3 inches is what he is hoping for (don't take that the wrong way). I'm guessing the first snow to stick will be enough. For the past 4 years we have done a "first snow" round, usually involves copious amounts of whiskey, a snow ball fight, and the fine art of disc tracking.   
Guinness Smurf aka Red Beard, arrange the snow to fall on a night I am not teaching. I would hate to miss one of these. Gonna be a good time!
