I also find myself able to throw UNDER the wind and right through tree trunks ;D

Sometimes I wake up to find I'm leaping over tall buildings too  :o

Played last night...shot a 47. Several holes had all 4 guys all throwing birdies. Had a great time!!!

Parks Dept trimmed up alot of the trees that were...some too much maybe but some was just what the doctor ordered.

This mini trial course still needs some temp t boxes to expand the possibilities...

Leaves are mostly down so finding errant shots is now easier then before.

If you have not played it yet...get yourself out there and give it a try...you need to park down by the RV cleanout area and walk up the short hill to the shower house. Look 50 yards or so behind the shower house and you will see baskets #9 and #1.

Remember...we got 9 Baskets in Paradise...just for you!

I went out today and fought the wind. But I loved the newly trimmed trees. And the leaves being down is nice! this course eats discs during the summer! Temp tee pads would be nice for the course. We need to get some planning done and make that happen.
Discs returned: 4
Returned to me: 0 :P

Just found this while googling Smithville- http://smithvilleherald.com/200906174203/community-living/community-living/disc-golf-lands-at-smithville-lake.html

I will release more info to this reporter (and more) once we get a bit farther down the road!

The plan as I would like to see it is to potentially make this a real course with regulation baskets and t-pads. It would be a nice course to warmup on or if want to work on your Ace runs, approaches or putts.

What's the possibility of the old Swope baskets?

Me too sir...this is the little starter course on the North side of the Lake...it's a fun little course.

It is also the one he judged initial interest from so in a sense, it was the one that got this whole thing started.
