Goals for 2010
« on: December 10, 2009, 10:21:52 AM »
Well I might as well start it.
1. Break the 300 barrier that has hit me
2. Improve my upshot so I don't have to show my not so good putting
3. Improve my putting when above fails
4. Break into the sixties at WYCO
5. Play at the 2010 Worlds AM
6. Last but not least LOOSE 50LBS. OF THIS KEG I AM CARRYING. Then all the above should improve.

DG related:
throw over 400, with consistent over 300 drives.
improve on putting (most importantly)
have a nice collection of discs  ;D
try my hand at dying
shoot an even round at WW
First Ace!! (can hardly be considered a goal since there's more luck than skill involved when i throw)

non DG related:
sub 5 minute mile and sub 18 minute 5k (3.1 mile)
sub 1hr. 30min. half marathon
bench 220 lb.
Get a 30 on the ACT.
Discs returned: 4
Returned to me: 0 :P

Sub 5 minute mile is nice.  I have ran 1, and that was when I was 14 after backpacking though the Rockies for 2 weeks.

I've never come close to a sub 18 5K.  I think I broke 20 a couple times, but I'm not in the shape to run that far that quick anymore. ;)

In your case, I would have to say "speed bump" is a shape.   ;D

My attempts will be this year during track. You got there before me though, I will be 16.
