belated BADGER Bash - Sunday, Nov 6, Beatrice, C Tier
« on: November 02, 2005, 03:53:46 PM »
Beatrice is about a 2.5 hour drive NW of Kansas City.

The BADGER Bash has been un-cancelled!

We decided to take advantage of a special one time offer from the PDGA. The sanctioning and insurance fees are waived, instead the money will go to aid disaster relief efforts. And all player and non-current fees received by the PDGA will be donated to the American Red Cross.

Concerning payouts, added cash is doubtful. I'm not from Beatrice, and it's 45 miles away, but it's a great course and deserves a sanctioned event. Even if we get added cash, it should rightfully go to the Katrina cause.

So, please come and enjoy yourself and the disc golf offered in Beatrice at the tournament.

I know you guys don't like driving more than 20 min to get to a tourney, but this ones worth it. The course is AWSOME, in my top 5!!!! Plus this is for a real cause man.... Try to make it and support the southerners. We're one of few who took the Katrina charity idea and made it happen.

We need your support...
