The easy way to remember OB is that to be in-bounds at least part of your disc must be on the in-bounds side of the line.

803.09 Out-of-Bounds
A. A disc shall be considered out-of-bounds only when it comes to rest and it is clearly and
completely surrounded by the out-of-bounds area. A disc thrown in water shall be deemed to be
at rest once it is floating or is moving only by the action of the water or the wind on the
water. See section 803.03 F. The out-of-bounds line itself is considered out-of-bounds.   In order to
consider the disc as out-of bounds, there must be reasonable evidence that the disc came to rest within the out-of-bounds area.  In the absence of such evidence, the disc will be considered lost and the player will proceed according to rule 803.11B.

Just saying, it's one less thing to have to be concerned about.  re-tee keeps it simple for you and the players.

Agreed.  It's not like you're trying to throw over a substantial OB distance on any shot (#13 island is less than 100' of OB, right?), so there's not really a penalty for shorter arms.  Unlike Swope #13 long or #15 at Olathe, which do need a drop zone for going OB off the tee.

I would like to note that to everyone calling me wanting me to "pull strings".   This is why I publicly list everyone in the waiting list in what order they come.  I hate backroom deals.  You get in because you were there.   I just want to be fair to everyone that wants to play. 

After the DUI I will NOT be running anymore tournaments (other than the LDO) until at least 2012.  So for those who want to give me advice for next year I will kindly pass that info along.  Thank you to everyone who did, as the flier pointed out, signed up early to avoid disappointment.  I hope I do this tournament justice with what I have planned and I hope everyone enjoys the lengths I have gone to make this fun. 

I do not need anyone to congratulate me, or stroke my ego.  I am not fishing for compliments either, I just wanted to get this off my chest because I really hate telling these people no but at the same time I really hate to HAVE to tell people more than once no.  So for the remainder of the year and until I choose to do this stuff again you guys can shut me out of your tournaments .  Please don't

Thanks to Dick, Kevin, Billy, Tracy, Drew, Rick, and everyone else who helped make Kan U Wyco happen. It was another windy, cold Kansas day out on the plain, but we made the best of it and had a great tournament. I had the pleasure of playing with two great groups. While we didn't shoot the best, we did have great time playing golf.
