I'm not sure I fully understand... play 18 holes on either up top or down under and then the final 9 and whoever has the best scores wins... is that correct? (or is it separated by course choice?) Maybe I do understand and it just doesn't make sense to me, so if someone could clarify that would be great.

There are now 105 people pre-registered. We still encourage pre-registrations at Disc Golf World. We're usually here after our posted closing times of 4:30 on weekdays. Also, will be here until at least 5:30 on Saturday.

If you're a photographically-enabled, we need some photos for Ice Bowl...both for KCK Parks department and for posting at icebowlhq.com. High res photos preferred.

Also looking for volunteers to write some names on scoreboard cards tomorrow at DGW.

Thanks,

Rick

I will bring my generator and possibly the camera.  Looks like 30 degrees?

That's warmer than last year.  It's also supposed to be sunny, which is a nice change.

Weather was great today, but the mud not so much. Took my nephew out for his second round ever and he shot a 16 over, which I am very stoked about. Wasn't so stoked about not being able to turn in my scorecard and not being able to play the second round. I think next year I'm just going to pay and get my disc, and skip playing.

I agree, we haven't played the second round the last few years, people are still on the course at 3pm

Maybe we need to go to two courses next year?

I had a blast.
Congrats to the all the organizers on raising so much cash for the Bishop Sullivan Center.
This is truly a great charity event!

All you chilly cookers...well played sirs.
One complaint though, 35 degrees...where was the Ice?

I had a blast out there today.  The weather was great...warm and sunny with no wind.  It was a little crowded.

Ghostrider and Colby, thanks for a great first round.  Hope you did well the second round as well.

Rick and the other organizers, I think you put on one heck of a tourney.  Kudos to making it work and keeping everything flowing pretty smooth.  Thanks for the great day.

Get there early and go play DU.  We flew through it and started down there about 9:00.  At times we would not see any other groups in front or behind. Maybe the guys behind were really slow and backing things up, but DU is the way to go.  No wind and the ground stays frozen longer becuase of all the shade.

I agree.  We got there at 10am.  We played DU and had finished by 12:30 with some waiting each hole.
Plus it wasn't muddy.
