I would like to know what the course schedule will be. Any updates available?
Tanner, that's a bit up in the air still, but Rick and I talked about it earlier this week, and Pros will probably play Swope twice on Sunday. Swope will play as a par 59/60 (hoping for an SSA of 55 to 56) with artificial rope OB on some holes. I'm still working on the exact configuration, but the pins will be set the Monday before the WO, and (hopefully) the OB will be finished by that Thursday.
We think that in the interest of time, Swope will be a slightly shorter configuration (#13 from the short tee, no more than 3 shorter pin placements) for the other 2 pools on Saturday and the 1st round for the pros on Sunday. I would love to have Swope tipped out with rope on every hole, but you just can't play 2 4 hour rounds in a day and still play a final 9.
Waterworks will be the shortest of the 3 courses (with an SSA in the 50 range I bet), with Rosedale set up slightly shorter than the Worlds layout (SSA around 53).
