Leave #13 on the long right position.

why is 8 always set short for the wide open? long and longer are much better holes. one dog's opinion unless the white maccoy also thinks it's another case of WEAK SAUCE!

2 reasons: flow so there is not too much backup on the course, and safety for 9's pad and 5's final approach. thanks for asking "why" instead of "how come"

isn't the how come a direct result of the why?

Hole 8 short is one of the toughest greens in KC. I think it's a much better hole than the other two. So now it's a battle of opinions.

What he said.  I think getting a 2 on the middle placement is easier than the short.  It's also got a much larger 3 putt potential.

#8 short is a finesse shot that's a much tougher deuce that it looks, and with the hill it sits on, fours and fives happen.

Probably not much scoring spread on the other two placements.

You're not really using the long left placement for the Wide Open on #12?

Missouri....our state animal is sterile, our state rock is lead, and we elected a dead guy to the U.S. Senate.  Of course, he was the best candidate.

The long left placement is the one that's through the center gap then down the hill toward #13's pad. Not the one that throws over #18.

It seems that the pole for hole 15 will not go far enough into the ground to be able to lock it down. Should I leave in the position it has been in or move it to one of the other positions?
