As symbolic as man’s first moonwalk, Dan Weinert, Dick Parker and Jamie "Danger" Berrie are the first to throw at an actual disc golf basket on the proposed #15 on the proposed disc golf “Woodhenge” Course in Smithville, MO, USA. It was truly an epic moment in time! These pioneers have helped paved a path for future disc golfers around the world! Congratulations! More course details to come...stand by!

AWESOME meeting you today sir...and your lovely wife too. The designers and myself have tried to look very closely and approximate what we think the water levels are doing out here. We may have a few issues left but for the most part I think we are OK.

All holes will eventually have multiple pin positions and some on the big boy course will have dual t-pads. I think you will see up to four different lake levels at different times of the year. Hopefully the park staff can shed some more light on the situation this week.

Thanks for the great question...trust me...it's been a concern since day one out here.

Call or pm me anytime if you want to meet up out there!

Man Walks on Water To Save Buddy's Disc!

Things got a bit crazy when on the 1st Official Shakdown Cruise of one of the possible holes at Smithville, Mr. Berry had a bit of a Danger-ous journey...

True guts or didn't want to loose 3 of his discs...you be the judge!

Not guts nor lose 3 discs but PURE STUPIDITY!!!

We knew that side was very solid...the other side though was complete water.

I am not sure I would have done that but hey...that's why Danger is his middle name!

Just for the record we BEGGED him not to do it but he felt compelled to and then once he got out there I just figured...  Well.   I better film his last moments ;)

Oh come one, it wasn't that dangerous. There were two other healthy intelligent guys there to help rescue him if the ice broke and it was a lake not a river. Now if he had been alone and done this, then I'd be joining the chorus of those calling him stupid.

This is coming from a guy that walked half way across the frozen Missouri River when he was 15. Now that my friends was stupid.

Kudos to Jamie Danger. Good job!

I enjoy playing golf with you so I am glad to see you made it through probably one of the stupidest decisions even you could make, Jamie.
I don't believe a is anywhere near this particular setting though.
I cannot wait until all the labor that has been put into this Smithville project comes to fruition, so it seems like an unnecessary risk to attach such an irresponsible behavior to it.
Once again, I am glad you are here to play golf and hope to enjoy a cup of coffee from the only golfer I know that sometimes carries a fresh pot of it with him down under!!  ;D

Its not the stupidest thing he has done.......he fell down the trail from #2-#3 (old trail before the short placement on #2) whilst hanging froma  vien doing his best Trazan impression abuot probably 10' flat on his back with a deaffening sound that made me think that I was taking him to the hospital.....

He lived......only to do this....... :o
