I'm out of school that Friday, and I can set up the Tedds Dredd with Ted if he's up for that.

For anyone else reading this wondering what the hell is going on, early this Summer I became in contact with a guy (Mike) from Colorado, that is actually a KCFDC member he was looking for people to play golf with when he came to town to visit his family.  Sounds like he's making a return trip although I was left off his email he sent to everyone else :(

So I vote for Tedds Dred, I need to get another round out there before I forget my way around :)

..........................................................................................................

Hi all,

I am planning a trip back to MO. over Thanksgiving. I will be driving in on
11/22 and staying till 11/27/05. Just wanted to see if anyone was up for a
round. Let me know. Is there going to be GLOW at WW on T-Day evening???

Thanks,

Mike Livingston

Hey Brant,

I will either be down for Glow at WW on Thursday evening. If not I will try
to play on Friday during the day. I would like to play the BVP course and
maybe Cliff Dr. course while I am back also.

Mike

I can bring an extra basket for hole #10; the placement is already designed - pretty much.

Let's Go Disc'n
« Reply #9 on: November 18, 2005, 10:08:16 AM »
...I have noticed from the poll that there are few takers for BVP. My own two cents on BVP is that it is hands-down the most awesome park/disc course in KC. Yeah, it'll make ya cry the next morning, but that just means you had to work for your score:) As the alternate positions come into play, it will be that much better.

As for disc'n, I am trying to get a group interested in making a small road trip tomorrow. The plan is leave KC about 9 AM, go to the NEW Riverfront DGC in Lawrence, play a round there, then head over to Mike & Amy's place in Tecumseh (between Lawrence and Topeka) for lunch, a few brews and then a round there. If we have any energy, we could always play Centennial Park on the way back.

Any and all thoughts are welcome!

OK, for the record, I would love to play any of those courses and especially Ted's that week-weekend. I will be leaving town Friday and wish to get one round in early on Thursday morning. I still not sure of what days ya'll are talking about. if it can work then I will see ya'.
I got the e-mail from Mike and I hope to see him on Wednesday on some fairway. So I am asking who else is planning on a round then?
As for this weekend it will be an early round Sat. and Beer League Sunday. So it is no go for the Lawrence trip for me. Sounds like a cool new course in the woods along the river. I live on Elm street in North Lawrence back in '88-'90. To the west there are two parks, one on each side of the river. When I lived there I would ride  mountain bikes on the trails along the north side, to the east. I will be interested in hearing about it. Have fun. dudes.
