...we have at least 8, maybe ten. I never use more than two at any one time. And I have the duct tape...start time about 6 - flexible there!

Ted's Dredd

Hi everyone,

I made it in last night from Colorado. I always like to play something new when possible. I would like to play Ted's Dredd if possible. It sounds like a fun course. How does around around 10 am on Friday sound? I will check the forum to see if that works. I will also need some directions on where it is. Someone mentioned it being near WYCO.My folks live outside Platte City and this would be pretty close for me. Sounds like a large group playing. Maybe we should consider doubles. I will check back for more info.

Please respond so we can confirm the plan.

...here are the directions. Does someone have to call Ted or Wood'z first to arrange us playing there? I am looking forward to it, as I have not played there since the Redbud Open:) Happy Turkey Day to all...

From I-435, take Exit 15 (A from the south, B from the north) onto Leavenworth Road (west). Turn north onto Hutton Rd. Continue through the 4-way stop at Donohoo Rd. Turn right onto Hollingsworth Rd. Go about one mile and look for the entrance on the right side of the road. Park your car right after entering the property, either left or right of the turn-in. Walk to the building just left of the pond.

Contact Numbers...
« Reply #20 on: November 24, 2005, 02:48:25 PM »
...contact Jeff “Wood-Z” Woods at 816-333-3105 or 816-561-5800. To make camping arrangements contact Ted at 913-530-3312...

This is from a flyer for this year's earlier event. Please post a response if you get permission to play the course - thank you! We are bringing a small grill, charcoal, brats, chips, buns, etc. If you want to cook and eat, please bring whatever food items you want.

They may charge about $5 per person to play, as this helps offset the facilities cost. Well worth it though - AWESOME COURSE.

Waiting on word...
« Reply #22 on: November 24, 2005, 05:21:38 PM »
...just talked to Will, and he is going to leave a note for Wood-Z to call me with 'the word'. I am going to the Plaza Lighting, so it may be a couple of hours before I can post an answer.

Do we have back-up course picked in case the word is 'NO'. How about BVP? Awesome views out there, but will be tough with strong winds.

Heard from Ted...

...Ted called me at 10:45 PM to say it is fine if we play there tomorrow. The fee is $5 per person! Parking is at Ted's driveway; the turn-in past where I said earlier.

Call me is there is any confusion as to where we will play. I will be up by 6 AM, so feel free to call me...see ya at Ted's...

Hey I just wanted to thank Brant and Tim for playing today at Tedd's Dred.  I also wanted to thank Tedd for a great course and letting us play. I had a great time and loved the course.

I'll be back to this course soon.
