Shirt Color Preference...
« on: March 10, 2010, 05:07:27 PM »
Just curious, what is everyone’s favorite shirt color...

Let's say for summer!

List maybe your top 3 color choices...don't forget bright neons, tie-die and cammo are colors too!

Thank you in advance to participating!

For basic colors, I like any kind of blue (royal, navy or sky), white, black, and gray. For louder colors, I like orange (not burnt orange, or gay peach orange, just orange) or green (forest green is fine, though I prefer regular old St. Paddy's green, anything but gay minty green). Red and yellow are tolerable, but probably my least favorite of the "normal" colors.

Please, dude, seriously, really, please, no burgundy, no salmon, no pink, no purple, no fuscia, and no bright neons. Tye-dye is cool if it's the bright multi-colored ones like they wear at Joe's Crab Shack, and you know I won't object to camouflage! ;D

To sum up, since girls look good in most any color, make it something a guy can wear anywhere and with any kind of pants or shorts, like out to the bar or to the Royals game or out to eat, and he won't look like a flaming... well you know.

One wacky idea I had was matching discs and shirts in tie-die!

Spin pattern...maybe a nice spider web looking design, matching complimentary color scheme!

Just not sure if that's logistically possible.

Or is it???

Well, it'd be nearly impossible to lose a tye-dye shirt, but it's very easy to lose a tye-dye disc. Just sayin', Chief...

I guess I'd have to say a Tye Dye with a really cool pattern to it would be cool, otherwise, I'd have to say I'm along the same line of thinking as Hyzer, except for the fact that I'm a Burgandy kind o' guy!  ;D

Just kidding....

White, light blue, and I've heard brown is the new black?

Blue, Red, or green.

Tye-dye would be great too.

Or you just told yours.  I'm 32 and I do not want to wear Tye Dye.  I will not I should say.  It's fine for wiping up oil spills but I'm short of finding other uses.

Also, this is our PR towards the city in a sense, so do you think we would like to not have one more thing pointing us to hippies?  just wondering.  I mean don't you think the local hippies have enough tye dye stuff?  Not that I don't like it .. I just don't like it.  personally that is.

I am leaning towards a Med Dark Blue and/or a Deep Burgandy shirt color...the tye-dyes would have raised the cost too much.

Next stop...the screen printer for his ideas.

Thanks for the comments everyone...appreciate the feedback!

Sounds like Dick needs a Tye Dye purse to go with his mangina.....

Light colors in the summer keep ya cool....dark colors suck!

Have to agree, tye die should die.  I like the lean towards blue!
