Last year it was the last weekend in January if memory serves me right.  There have been talks about getting things started up for it, so stay tuned for more info probably after the holidays have passed.

Going by what Eupher Dude said that would make it either Saturday Jan 28th or Sunday Jan 29th.  That's the weekend inbetween the Conference Championships and the Superbowl.

Can anyone in Club Office postions varify this?  Also when does everyone else around the world hold their Ice Bowl?  This is one event I'm really looking forward to this year.

From the KCFDC listserv from Rick R.

"The Executive Committee will likely be meeting quite soon, and will likely
finalize the date of the Ice Bowl in its traditional position one week
before the Super Bowl, which falls on January 29. During that meeting, it
will be decided who is heading it, but Ice Bowl had traditionally been a
wonderful group effort. With over 150 people last year when we raised 2,500
for the Bishop Sullivan Center, I expect that we will not want to change how
we have done it in past too radically.

If anyone wants to help, speak up. Volunteers are need to help with
registration, to sell stuff, to organize the communal meal and/or chili
contest, to run the CTP contests, to help with scoring, and to clean tee
pads if needed. In addition prior to the Ice Bowl, we need people to look
for sponsors to either donate cash for the charity or prizes for the CTP
contest that can be translated into cash for the charity. If anyone would
like to oversee the entire event, please plan to attend the EC meeting to
discuss it.

Hopefully, by Ice Bowl Sunday, the temperature will have risen above
freezing and stopped snowing. Regardless of the weather, Ice Bowl will be
held and everyone must attend, where no whining is allowed. Those who don't
show up, you may recall, are known as wimps and will be called out as such,
because they have no excuses for not being there.

This is a notice that for the second year Millennic Glass will be hosting a ping pong party on the eve of the Ice Bowl. It will be held in the front gallery, with 14 foot ceilings and spot lights on two tables. This is a social gathering primarily for disc golf-ping pong playing fools. Last year we had a visit from one of K.C. Fire Dept. Pump trucks.
This is a bring your own poison and play as much or as little as you like. There will be a singles play-off and some doubles rounds. Wifes and Girlfriends are also welcomed. More will be posted  as the date nears.
