disc golf apps

Just got a new smart phone, the HTC hero, and was cUrious if anyone knows of any disc golf apps.

So you're on Sprint then? Should've held off until June 4th for the HTC EVO, man! I would seriously take that Hero back if I were you!

Oh, and sorry, I don't know of any DG apps...

I found three on the ayefone.

Two of them are a dolla and have verrry low ratings.

There is one called discgolf for two dolla that is rated well and looks pretty good. It is basically an electronic scorecard but remembers courses and players. It will provide round and hole information for a number of different people and is set up to share with social networking sites on the interwebs, including discgolf.com.

Ryan, if you haven't found it yet, there is an Android App called "Easy Score" for golf scores, and it has a selection for disc golf. You keep the names of the courses on file and just select whatever one you're playing at the time. It keeps track of how long it takes to play each hole/round in addition to keeping score.

BTW, this new EVO 4G is the shiat. There's even an App I found that turns it into a metal detector-- I was able to find where they buried Ronnie James Dio in no time flat!

I have an app to record scores on my iPod Touch, but I never use it. It would be cool to have an app that lists courses with maps and all, but who wants to take the time to enter a score on your iPod when playing a round? Not me, I've come to realize that.

I'll d/l that app today, sounds cool.  G$ told me of a really great one, called My Tracks.  It uses Google maps and tracks how far you how fast how long, etc.  I highly recommend it.

I have an app for my Blackberry that that does just about everything that you could think of for disc golf, but it is a ball golf app.  I does every type of scoring system (even figures skins at the end of the round) and downloads all of the rounds to a server that I can check for stats.  It also sends the rounds via email to anyone that I play a round with that is entered in to the database.  It is very easy to use.
