Of course it's going to happen. It will be on Sunday the 29th the weekend between the NFL playoffs and the Superbowl. The same weekend it's been on for the last ten years or so. Sorry we haven't gotten the info out to everyone in a more timely manner but please don't go driving all the way to Wichita. Last year we had 151 people come out for the Ice Bowl in Kansas City and this year we hope to surpass that. We raised around $2500 for the Bishop Sullivan Center and plan to try and raise more this year. Start working on getting donations for CTP prizes and $ for extra donations. The cost will be $15 which will include a disc and a mini with $7 of this going directly to BSC. Specialty discs with Ice Bowl logos will be available for slightly more as well as great Ice Bowl clothing.

There will be a chili cook-off, CTP contest for prizes, mulligans for sale and all sorts of other fun activities.

The first round needs to be started no later than 10am with a group of your choice, of no more than five players. Last year we had some very large groups that slowed play down considerably.

Spread the word. More info will be showing up next week, including flyers at all local courses and a newsletter. More details will be in the minutes of last Tuesday's meeting which will be posted by Monday evening.

You did the right thing. It got a reaction out of me and prompted me to get the info posted. We now have an official flyer for the event in color and black and white. We need many donations for the CTP prizes, please ask all your favorite places to help spolnsor in the form of gift certifcates to help us raise over $3000 this year for Harvester's largest food pantry.  For Tax deductible checks that will go directly towards the fund amount, make towards the Bishop Sullivan Center, this DOES NOT count towards the entry of the event, but will still be greatly appreciated!  Start your businesses to work towards their tax deductions for 2006 by getting a check to the BSC today!  And help us have a blast by getting your local businesses involved with the biggest most fun tourney of the year.  

Also I would like to see at least 50 people new to a "tournament" at this year's Ice Bowl, after all who shouldn't play their first tournament without the opportunity to buy Milligan's?

Roll call: Who's going to be at Ice Bowl?  Who's bringing chili? Who's got something to donate for the CTP?

Remember, no wimps or whiners and no excuses for not attending, although if you can't make it, a nice donation will allow you to be a generous wimp.

camera crew out there at 8:30, and they will be shooting live for their
morning show, so it'd be cool to get as many people as we could to show
up as close to 8:30 as possible.
