#3 short placement
« on: January 01, 2006, 09:53:17 AM »
Any body know a good way to clean out sleeves?  This one is kinda filled... I got it partially cleaned.  Be careful the next time we use it.  I added some new placement markers.  Nice bright paint on top so the mowers can better see it as they mow over it:D

I used water and a pipe smaller than the placement. I poured in water and then used the pipe to press it into the mud and rocks to fill the hollow end of it then pulled it out and cleaned it out with a bar before doing it again. It worked really well. If there's much more than small rocks and mud in it I don't know what to suggest.

It's more like wood chips, acorns, mud, water, etc.  Maybe an iron rod with something on the end to help pull the stuff out
