Sorry for the late post, but yeah, the Joplin Disc Golf Club will be hosting a qualifier this Sunday, 6/27 at McClelland Park in Joplin.  Start time is 1PM and last tee time is 5PM.  We'll set up our "Championship 9" layout for this event (par 30, no gimmie 2's, which will also be used as our final nine for the Four States Open in September) and everything else will be the same as on the flyer.

How many people came out to try?  How much money was raised for the eventual winner?

4 paid 10 each, stl raised over 200, we raised 40, it's up to joplin to report and then columbia. it's still kinda cool to have an intrastate thing going on.

Joplin had 4 as well.  Raised $50 total & all is going to the winner.  We'll do a little better job next year of getting the word out earlier & hopefully the severe thunderstorms will stay away too.

The Final will be $15 per player. 

We will be checking in at the top course hole 1 in Columbia at 8.30 fri morning brief players meeting and then tee off at 9.We will play one round on the bottom course . In the event of a playoff we will use a sudden death format .Cant wait to see everybody there.Best of luck to everyone .
