Work Day at Water Works
« on: June 10, 2010, 01:00:55 PM »
Paul asked me to post that there will be a work day this Saturday (6/12) at Water Works in preparation for the Wide Open.

Chipping and other chores, please bring any tools that might be useful. Work will begin about 9:00. There will be a keg of pale ale from McCoys provided and doubles will take place following.

Please come out and help get the course ready for our biggest tournament of the year in KC.

Thank you!

Man....that's a better deal than I'm getting for helping out at Rosedale Sat.!   ;D

With that said, I've already informed Jim I would be there to help at Rosedale, therefore, I'll be there.  From what I'm told, we'll be finishing up around the same time, so, I'll at least try to make it out for some dub's and leftover keg!  ;D

It's all good....I can pull a recon on the keg, and have it over at Rosedale, and they'll never realize it's gone until it's too late!   :D ;D :D

(just kidding of course....I would NEVER do any such thing  ::) ::) )

It's good our club members are resorting to bribes to win over workers instead of working together at different times or days to make sure there are plenty of bodies and beers for all of the needs presented to each course.  Jim, if I were you I would bribe them with OK Joes for Lunch.  I'm sure it's in your budget for the work day.  Maybe even have enough left over for a six pack of nat'y

All that being said...both parks need some love.

I'd be willing to come to H2O after Rosey treatment (and the ZMan) to do some help on the quad.
