Swope Mini Course Layout for TOMORROW: 6/22...
« on: June 21, 2010, 07:17:38 PM »
Here we go folks, Swope on a Rope is gone, but we will be playing a slightly different layout with some very easy and very challenging holes, including a few safari's.  ALL LONG PADS. ALL STREETS & ROCK BUNKERS ARE OB, sprayed chalk lines are not.  Mandatories will be in effect on holes 1 and 10.  here is the layout:

1) short right
2) short right
3) long over road
4) short right
5) left
6) TEMP 1's pad to Temp 2's basket
7) Temp 3 (if flags/rope still on this one we will use island format)
8: 6's pad to 8's long basket
9) short
10) short
11) middle
12) right
13) long woods
14) short peninsula
15) short
16) long
17) left
18) long

Come on out for some golf at SWOPE PARK TOMORROW :o :o :o

Disclaimer: I promise I will not blow an air-horn at you while looking for a lost disc nor will I vomit before, during, or after the round in your presence.  I CANNOT promise refraining from telling any Humble DNF jokes.

I bet you can find that thing if you gave it another good look-not a spot that has been well-traveled or casually looked over-that thing is still gotta be right where it landed.  I have only walked those temp holes a few times, I am trying to picture what the safari hole is gonna play like, hopefully it is gnarly and screws with people and isn't easy. <INSERT TIMKO EXPERTISE COMMENTARY HERE>  Regardless this layout will be something NEW with a ton of birdie opps and a handful of really tough holes with OB danger on the majority.....

I will be out there no later than 5:00PM to move stuff around-if you were planning on being out there Slim I will meet up and get those 2 baskets moved-if you weren't coming out no sweat, we can play 4 medium and 6 to 8 short safari would still be sweet...plus I assume you have a key to open the clubhouse?  I gave mine to Rick Friday morning before KCWO so won't be able to open her up before league tomorrow myself...

Slim, why did you use different locks and keys?  We'll need to change those out for the locks in the clubhouse that were originally attached to those baskets.

Timko, Palmer, and Becky won.  It was blazing balls hot and windy.  Craigory Loondless threw OB over and over again.  I have a 666 on my card.  Craig Spoonless took off with Palmer's 53 tag instead of taking Palmer's 200something.  Stray dogs and wandering dogs were abundant.  Palmer makes farting noises while Gregory Lewless tees off & receives courtesy violation warning from Lewless.  Hummel DNS'd (Did Not Show).  Boring details to follow.

Open:
Timothy Crisco I   64
Styles,Mark         65
Lyons,Jason     "Hummeled"
Murphy, Mike   "Hummeled"

Palmero, Rafael    61
Baggerman, Zack  63
Killian, "Leave my dog alone" Lee  63
Cross, Pauly  64
Howard, Dan  64
Neckbeard     65
Poondis, Fred  65
Danner, Jeremy  73

Women:
Suzette Nance:  72

Thanks for the nickname neckbeard, that cracked me up.

Thankfully that couple with the foofoo dog came along so that dog would leave us alone.

I thought old cooter was gonna have to woop some scrawny pup ass. Doesn't that just sound awesome? ;D
Cooter was here.
