In preperation for the LSDisc tournament we need to do a bit of work down under.

Here is my plan weather permitting

Saturday 8am till it gets to hot.

1.Trash and more Trash.....

This has become a major thorn, all that is in the trash cans is bottles. I will be proposing to the Wyandotte County Parks Dept. Some sort of recycle bid located between holes 9,10,12,18 basically close to the memorial for Brock. I hope this will help in eliminating all the bottles down there in the trash cans.

2. Cut tree branches up that have fallen on 3..... If anyone has a chain saw we can use I would appreciate it very much "Nick" I know you like cutting stuff up. But with new baby and all not sure if you can make it.

3. Weed eat holes 9 fairway, 17's fairway.

Sunday

1. Resand or AB3 or what ever its called as many boxes as we can.

I will offer beer both days and FOOD will be bought on Saturday for all those who work

I posted this elsewhere but Brad and I bagged up at least 35 bags of trash, it awaits removal.

We also discovered today there is some more cutting to do:

Tree on the way to #2 lower pad. Looks like some loser cut down a perfectly healthy 4" tree with an ax? WTF?

Big tree blocking the path from #17 to #18. The will require a good chain saw and a lot of help to move. It's probably 14"
and broke right at ground level.

There is a real large widow maker on #12, left side of the fairway near the road/path that goes to #6 UT. I would guess I real
experienced tree trimmer could get up there but we'll probably just have to wait for it to die and fall.

I talked with Nick Wink yesterday at Rosedale.   He said that he would be busy tomorrow, but will be out Sunday to cut down any trees.  If we can spray paint the trees that need to go, he can remove them.

Thanks to the following people that came out today to help with trash removal.

Dan Weinert----Couldnt have done it all in one day with out the quad
Jim Sherwood
Timko
Big Wave Dave

Over 45 bags of trash were removed from down under and 90% of this trash was all glass bottles.

Nick and Timko will be back tomm sometime to cut a few fallen trees.

Thanks again to everybody that helped.

Dear people that dislike any trees down under, I will make them disapear tomorrow @ 6 pm.  As of now I only know of 3 dead ones, also where would you like the remains of those fallen oxygen givers.  I will check this post before I leave.  O yea kick ass on the trash!!!

Nick and I got the tree cleaned up on #1 and #2, as well as the tree across the path on #17.  There's a serious widow maker on #12, but that's not coming down without some rope.
