It should be called a par 4, it is one after all.

I know it is a par 4, I just don't know that he'll call it that on the scorecard.

Hole-in-one on a par 5. I guess it's been done on a ball-golf course somewhere.....somewhere they had a big dogleg that someone could cut off.

Albatross is more likely, or we call them double eagles.

Missouri....our state animal is sterile, our state rock is lead, and we elected a dead guy to the U.S. Senate.  Of course, he was the best candidate.

Whatever they call PAR on that hole, just don't screw up the math or you could end up with a bogey of sorts!

I hope you all have fun  ::)  I'll be watching my son run around the Cross Country track at Richards-Gebaur  :-X

it needs to be called a par 4 for people that may miss the hole to start....par +4 strokes for missing holes, thus you must call holes where applicable the correct par....

Link didn't work for me.

How long was it?  Any idea how many "condors" have been recorded?

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Tom and Cindy Butler, the DD crew and all the other people who helped run today's tournament. I had a blast and will be looking forward to the next one!
If I got a nickel for every time that I aced at least I'd have a nickel!

We hope everyone had a good time. Thanks to all the players for coming out for the day.

Thanks to Drew Neitzel for the water and for helping move baskets. Thanks to Rand Matney for spotting and helping move baskets. Thanks to Mikey Edstedt and Minna Dennis for spotting.

A HUGE thanks to Jeremy Rusco, Jeremy Kindy, Clay Houser, and Cole Armitage for coming up on short notice and helping make it a first class event.

Enjoy the pictures.

How'd the temp holes play in the tourney?

I didn't do a scoring average on the two temp holes, so I can't say. Sorry. I got the impression from conversations and walking around during the round that 16 was mostly 4's and 5's, and 17 was mostly 3's and 4's.
